S-TECH fork springs were developed specifically for rugged off-road use. They are manufactured to DIN Quality 1 and ISO 9000/2000 standards and are subject to continuous quality control.
Features:
- Made of high-quality chrome-silicon spring steel
- Both ends ground
- Heat-treated and
- Pre-set (-> minimal compression loss)
- Surface-hardened (shot-blasted)
- Very high block strength
- Very low lateral forces with ideal positioning of the force axis relative to the spring axis
- Planar parallelism and precise alignment of the spring ends relative to each other in both loaded and unloaded states
- Very tight tolerances: Inner diameter di ± 0.25%, spring rate C ± 2.5%
- Stamped with type, spring rate, length, and date of manufacture

NOTE:For fork springs with higher spring rates, it may be necessary to reduce the diameter of the forks spring guide (the black plastic part on the piston rod) by 0.2 to 1 mm.
